Ordering and Payment

   An item can be ordered from the fixed range from the 'Elizabeth of Exeter' brochure website, where no alterations are involved.  If preferred amendments can be made to the fixed range to create a bespoke item.  A complete bespoke service is also available as an alternative to the fixed range.  With every order, a 'Design Brief' form is completed and approved by the client which will act as the agreement for 'Elizabeth of Exeter' to create the item for the client. 

   As per the 'Design Brief' payment is an initial non-refundable deposit of 50% of the order and construction can only commence once the deposit is received and cleared.  The remaining 50% plus postal charges is payable on invoice prior to dispatch of goods.

Vouchers

   Vouchers can be purchased in any denomination to redeem against an order from 'Elizabeth of Exeter'. Payment for the voucher is required in full and is sent Royal Mail Recorded Signed For Delivery Service.  Notification of intention to redeem should be given at the point of order confirmation.  Vouchers have twelve months to be redeemed as indicated and are no longer valid after the expiry date.

Payment Methods

   Payment is accepted by cash, cheque made payable to 'E Smith' (please allow five working days to clear) or via internet banking (please contact me in advance if using this payment method).

Delivery Postage and Packing

   As all the items are handmade to order, please expect the delivery time to be between six and eight weeks.  Your tiara or head-dress will be packaged in non-acidic tissue paper in a clear plastic keepsake box.  If you have an urgent request, please indicate this at the time of order confirmation and it will be upgraded to 'priority' and despatched sooner.

Postal Charges

   Charges are in accordance with Royal Mail available delivery services and are indicated on the 'Design Brief' Form at the point of confirmation of order.  For an order of £39.00 and below, your item(s) will be despatched via Royal Mail Recorded Signed For delivery service and so will require a signature on delivery.  This service provides proof of postage.  If you are unable to sign for your item(s), it/they will be returned to your local Royal Mail sorting office and held for seven days.  If this occurs and delivery was not possible, the cost of re-delivery will be the responsibility of the client.  For an order £40.00 and over, your item(s) will be despatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery Service for your added security. This service provides guaranteed next day delivery and a tracking service with insurance cover and peace of mind for both parties.

Returns

   We of course hope you will be delighted with your item(s) from 'Elizabeth of Exeter' but if for any reason you are dissatisfied, please make contact within two days of receipt of order to discuss, as your satisfaction is paramount.

   If you decide you would prefer to return the item(s) for a refund, please note the following: the item(s) must be returned within ten days of notification.  All items must be returned using Royal Mail Recorded Signed For Delivery and in it's original packaging to qualify for a refund.  Returns will not be accepted after this ten day period.  Refunds will not be given for used items or items returned after the date of your event/wedding.  We have the right to refuse returns if we suspect that the returns policy has been abused. The cost of returning the item(s) is the responsibility of the client.  All returns will be refunded within thirty days of receipt of item(s) less original postage and packaging as these were a direct cost to 'Elizabeth of Exeter'.

Due to hygiene reasons, earrings are non-returnable including earrings that are part of a set.

   If the item is found to be damaged in transit or the item is proved to be faulty, please telephone immediately upon receipt to enable a replacement to be arranged. The original item will need to be returned via Royal Mail Recorded For Delivery service before the replacement can be dispatched.

Cancellation of Order

   In the event of an order being cancelled and the 50% deposit has been received, as previously stated this in non-refundable. Where the client has preferred to pay in full, this still applies.

Disclaimer

   The items created by 'Elizabeth of Exeter' are constructed to an extremely high standard and are intended solely for use as bridal accessories and are not toys.  Children should be observed as the components could be a potential choking hazard.  'Elizabeth of Exeter' does not accept responsibility for any injury emanating from the misuse of any item(s).

   Please be rest assured that under no circumstances are your personal details disclosed to any third party and are only used to service your order.

   All of the product designs are exclusive to 'Elizabeth of Exeter' and remain the intellectual property of 'Elizabeth of Exeter'. 'Elizabeth of Exeter' reserves the right to use the product designs in it's advertising.  No part of this website including any of the designs can be reproduced without prior permission from the owner.
